- Aries the Alien™Xyrena
- Xyrena's martian mascot
B
- Backer CardStubz
- The two-sided printed Stubz packaging featuring a front retail header and a backer with an industry-first rear cutout window. The rear window exposes the reverse side of the Marquee while sealed, allowing barcodes and release details to be read directly from the air freshener. This makes the Marquee a form of integrated packaging.
- Big BoxStubz
- Oversized promotional packaging for Stubz (often a VHS clamshell) gifted for PR. Sometimes available for sale to collectors in very limited quantities exclusively on Xyrena.com
- BloomStubz
- The natural ink cracking and fiber exposure along the outer edges of Stubz caused by the die-cutting process. Most visible on black-background designs, Bloom adds an authentic vintage/worn look. Because it occurs naturally in production, no two Stubz are exactly alike, especially when paired with Shift.
- Brandz™Stubz
- Stubz series featuring iconic real-world brands alongside fictional on-screen brands, places, products, and in-universe artifacts from film and television, colliding inside a shared pop-culture universe. Each release is canon in its own world and now exists in ours.
- Break BoxStubz
- A Stubz mystery pack sold directly by Xyrena, containing multiple cards with at least one guaranteed chase, variant, short run, or exclusive.

- A variant made in limited quantities

- A list of every release and variant
- Chimera™Stubz
- A Stubz with different artwork on each side
- CommonStubz
- A Stubz produced in typical run quantities. Also known as a base card.
- CompletistCollecting
- A collector with the goal of owning every release and variant in a line or series

- Double FeatureStubz
- A Chimera Stubz in the Reel Fresh series featuring art from two different films or shows (one on each side) typically from the same franchise
- DropCollecting
- A scheduled release, either online or in-store
E
- EAN CodeXyrena
- 13-digit product barcode. Xyrena products are made in the USA but use global standard EAN identifiers instead of North American UPCs.
- ElasticStubz
- The elastic cord that allows Stubz to be hung. Stubz uses an extra-long string to clear various rear-view mirrors, including those with integrated features like OnStar. Comes in various colors coordinated to the series or release.
- ExclusiveXyrena
- A release that is only available from a specific retailer or event
F
- FacsimileStubz
- Any Stubz which includes a facsimile autograph provided to Xyrena specifically for printing on Stubz. Typically a common in the Fresh Faces series and a chase in the Reel Fresh series.
- FuzziesStubz
- The small, fuzzy remnants left behind after removing the Stubz Marquee. Fuzzies are minimized by cutting the perforation with scissors instead of tearing by hand.

- GlowStubz
- A Stubz produced with glow in the dark or UV (blacklight) reactive ink

- Holder / "Stubz Hubz"Stubz
- A hard protective case for Stubz and other trading cards. Stubz cannot go directly in acrylic cases without a sleeve.
L
- LockedStubz
- When Xyrena has exclusivity to a license/IP in both the trading card and air freshener categories
M
- MarqueeStubz
- The removable top section of Stubz which includes the scent name and barcode. The back of the marquee resembles a trading card grading label.
N
- Nonlinear ReleaseStubz
- A Stubz released out of sequential order, intentionally planned for future distribution despite being developed earlier, resulting in gaps in numerical sequence
O
- OopsStubz
- A Stubz printed with a mistake or error (like a misspelling)
- OverlayStubz
- A transparent sticker barrier placed over a Stubz to facilitate direct autograph signing, preventing ink bleed into the absorbent paper.
P
- PackStubz
- The plastic wrap packaging around a Stubz
R
- Re-WrapStubz
- A Stubz that has been used for its fragrance then put back in its original packaging with the marquee and elastic intact
- Reel Fresh™Stubz
- Stubz series featuring original officially licensed art from movies and television shows
- Release Number (No.)Stubz

The consecutive number assigned to a release within a Stubz series. Alphanumeric modifiers (e.g., 5B, 5C) are used when multiple releases exist for the same property. The original release uses the base number (e.g., 5), and subsequent designs are labeled sequentially using letter suffixes starting with B. The letter A is intentionally omitted to avoid confusion with the base release.
Sequels are treated as separate properties and are assigned their own unique release numbers. For example, Jaws 2 would have a different base number than Jaws.

- Xyrena's official disclosure of the total units produced of a Stubz release, announced after the product has been discontinued.

- SeriesStubz
- A Stubz line with a specific theme/subject
- ShiftStubz
- The inherent, slight variation of design position and border dimensions due to the nature of the Stubz manufacturing process
- Short RunStubz
- A Stubz printed in extremely low quantities
- SleeveStubz
- A protective plastic cover used by collectors to protect Stubz. Stubz are compatible with polypropylene (PP), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and PET (polyethylene terephthalate) sleeves and toploaders made to fit thick 79 pt and up cards. Also known as a "Penny Sleeve"
- SouvenAir™Stubz
- Stubz series featuring attractions, travel destinations, and events. Sold exclusively at physical retail locations.
- StockStubz
- The absorbent paper Stubz are printed on. 80 pt (2mm) thick.
- Stubz®Stubz
- The world's first, patent-pending air freshener / scented trading card hybrid. Name inspired by ticket stubs.

- Uncut Sheet (aka Press Sheet)Stubz
- A very rare uncut sheet of Stubz, typically not available for sale

- Wax PackStubz
- A Stubz release in any series designed to resemble the classic trading card wax packaging popular in the 1970s and 80s. Featuring hand-illustrated, comic-style pop art.
